AMVCA is African version of OscaJrs-udges

SOME of the judges of the African Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) during the week stated that they are impressed with the level the award attained at its first edition, describing it as another edition of Oscars
Two of the judges, Phad Mutumba from Uganda and Zik Zulu Okafor, President of Association of Movie Producers were led to the conference by the Head Judge, Mr Femi Odugbemi.
The Head Judge stated that the detailed structure of the rules set down by organisers helped to ensure there was no compromise, adding that some film makers are their own enemies as they do not comply with stated steps and flout entry rules.
He added that all judges exhibited professionalism in the decision making and all films were treated given equal chances to improve story telling with best practices around the world.
The judges  added that they were happy watching people receive recognition for their good and continuous work for years.
