The federal Ministry of Aviation has imposed a tax of $4,000 on every
private jet owners for every trip made outside the country, and $3,000
for every local trip.
That means that a person like pastor Oyedepo
who has 4 private jets and makes an average of 3 international trips per
week will be paying N399 Million per annum. The same for Billionaire
Aliko Dangote who has three Jets.
Mike Adenuga with 2 Jets would paying N266M per annum according to his annual trip.
Other private jet owners like Gov. Rotimi Amaechi and Gov. Godswill
Akpabio would pay N166M per annum, Pst. Ayo Oristejafor would also fall
under this catergory.
Pastor Adeboye and Ifeanyi Ubah would be paying N133M each while Jimoh Ibrahim, N100M.
Also the richest woman in Nigeria Folorunsho Alakija would also pay a
sum of N66M for her trips inside and outside Nigeria on her private Jet.
