According to the statment released by the NJC’s Acting Director (Information), Mr. Soji Oye, the president approved the appointment of the judges on the recommendation of the National Judicial Council.
Among the new apointees are:
Muawiyah Baba Idris (Taraba State); Bello Kawu (Gombe State); Udukwu Umar (Ebonyi State); Ogbonnaya Kezieh Nwamaka (Enugu State) Anriete Okon Ebang (Akwa-Ibom State)
All of them will be sworn-in by the Chief Justice of Nigeria and Chairman of the National Judicial Council, Hon. Justice Mahmud Mohammed, GCON, on Thursday, December 18, 2014 at 11:00am in the Supreme Court of Nigeria.
