Jonathan blames failure toend insurgency on saboteurs

PresidentGoodluck Jonathan on Friday blamed his administration’s inabilityto crush the Boko Haram insurgents on both internal and external saboteur.
Jonathan who was speaking when a delegation of Nollywood stars under the aegis of “Creative Professionals”visited him at the PresidentialVilla, said his government would do everything possibleto end the Boko Haram insurgency.
The delegation was led by Actor, Segun Arinze.
Jonathan, who did not call the names of the alleged saboteur, however thanked the group for observing one minute of silence for those killedby the insurgents, charging the thespians to continue to spread the campaign against insurgency.
He said ‘’ “One of our greatest challenges and I have to thank you for observing that one-minute of silencein their honour, is this security challenge.
“But we are working very hard, we have our frustrations, we have issues of sabotage: internal and external, but we are working very hard and by the grace of God, we will overcome.”
Going forward, the president stated that the country equally needed seriouseffort to upgrade its infrastructure to meetthe needs of the nation and its citizens.
He pleaded with the actors to call to order somepoliticianswho are in the habit of creating tensionin the country through their unguarded commentsin the interestof peace.
