Her case all come to mind.
Funmi Lawal is the UNILAG law graduate who was diagnosed with malignant sarcoma, a kind of cancer at the shoulder region. A music producer, Don Jazzy donated N2 million towards her treatment.
Funmi's left arm was amputated in January 2013 to save her life. Sadly, she still didn't make it.
She died this morning at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital. The cancer was reported to have have spread to her lungs and she had completely lost the ability to breathe without a respirator.
